Watari has been a specialized distributor of fresh produce in Japan since 1972.
We work as a dedicated coordinator between growers and consumers, always aiming for Win-Win business for the sake of sustainability. Japan is facing the big issue of decreasing agrarian population today. Therefore, we are committed to support Japan agriculture for security of future food supply for Japanese consumers. By the same token, we are also engaged in procuring safe quality produce from overseas to complement the domestic supply. We have been searching for optimal production areas overseas and best growers for each item to meet the Japanese market needs and we are currently sourcing so many products from over 15 countries, such as US, Canada, Mexico, China, Korea, Australia, NZ, Philippines, etc.
